亨利大衛梭羅(1817~1862)為美國作家、詩人、哲學家、自然主義者，著有《湖濱散記》、《河上一周》及《公民不服從》等，他留給後世的作品影響了很多名人，包括甘地、馬丁路德及托爾斯泰等。
